this is me chong lim ; 9:00 PM

Here's the premise: We are all, right now, living the life we choose. This choice, of course, is not a single, monumental choice. No one decides, for example, "I'm going to move to L.A., and in five years I will be a waiter in a so-so restaurant, planning to get my 8-by-10's done real soon so that I can find an agent and become a star," or "I'm going to marry a dreadful person and we'll live together in a loveless marriage, staying together only for the kids, who I don't much like, either." No. The choices I'm talking about here are made daily, hourly, moment by moment. Do we try something new, or stick to the tried-and-true? Do we take a risk, or eat what's already on our dish? Do we ponder a thrilling adventure, or contemplate what's on TV? Do we walk over and meet that interesting stranger, or do we play it safe? Do we indulge our heart, or cater to our fear? The bottom-line question: Do we pursue what we want, or do we do what's comfortable? For the most part, most people most often choose comfort - the familiar, the time-honored, the well-worn but well-known. After a lifetime of choosing between comfort and risk, we are left with the life we currently have. And it was all of our own choosing.

Here are ten stimulating questions for you, as you move forward on your personal path of life. Wanting: Do you constantly "hunger" for something more in your life? Hmmmm....is it time you started to imbibe in the fruits of your life? Waiting: Are the week "ends" the bright spots of your life? Let's work on making every day 'feel' and 'be' a bright moment in your being, and a constant beginning full of joyful expressions. Enjoying now: Are you constantly looking toward what is/will be in the future? Perhaps you already have what you want or need.....have you looked lately? Now is pretty wonderful and the only place that you can BE. Listen to what you already know. Remembering: Do you know, beneath the layers of the everyday 'doing' in life, that you are capable of much, much, more? Remember your dreams as a child or a young adult? They are as real today as they were then. You've simply forgotten. Be a witness to your remembering..... Expressing: Are you afraid to look beyond what you have created your life to be now? What a joy to know that you can choose to be more fully expressed. Choosing: Do things seem to be going well, but you're still not happy? Can't figure out what's missing? Perhaps there is nothing missing.....it's only what you are choosing to express that is off. Why not come out to play? Being good: Are you still being the good little girl or boy and doing what you "should" in life. Goodness.....living up to other peoples standards is difficult. Why not take your power back and consciously create your Own? Soul's work: Do you constantly thirst for more knowledge and greater understanding? It may be your soul stimulating you to 'remember'. Perception: Do you understand that you created your life to be exactly what it is right now? By the way you believe. Your beliefs shape your perception of reality. Is your cup half full....or half empty? Choose: Are you at conscious "choice" in everything in your life? Or do you feel trapped by circumstances? Remember, you can CHOOSE anything. The only obstacle may be your fear of the consequences. You ARE free. Free to choose.

Just had my NCO course.. ; 3:47 PM

Hey Delta!! Sorry I didn't join you all for dinner yesterday.. *Apologies*
Really hope that I can the next time round..

Well, just to share, I went to the .38 revolver shooting competition yesterday.. I hoped that I would see some of you there.. Yeap! Saw some J08 people.. From Delta, I only saw Fahmi and our CII, Philomela.. Haha.. Why don't some of you join in yesterday?? Like Jenice, you're good.. Why didn't you join?? Hees..
Okeh.. Did quite okey yesterday.. :p

Lets talk about NPCC training.. My school just had our NCO course for the sec 3s.. It was atrocious!! Wahaha.. I didn't know that they don't know even the basic.. It was surprising!! So the CIs had lots of work to do.. A 3 days, 2 nights camp is not enough to train the NCOs to-be.. Haha.. Maybe they need some modular and residential course like our CIBTC?? Hehe.. Joking..

So yea.. Most of them failed the assessment.. And we're having a re-test very soon..

That's all to update about me.. :)

>> Looking forward to read about your progress.. And pls update about yesterday's dinner.. I would love to know.. Hees..

guys this is my motivation message from wat i found at my book don ask me why as i don noe how i get it but for get it i meassage is this:

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL
January 11, 1999
Every day, we fight the fight. Every day we play the game.Every day we expect good things.Every day we want to do our best.So what's the secret? Where's the answer?Well here it is.There isn't one. No matter how long you live, all you can do is improve upon the mistakes and reap the success. That's it.
That's your job. So instead of searching for the magic waters, live for now. Wake up with that smile, that energy, that goal, and strive on. It might not happen or work today, so what. Guess what, it probably didn't for the next person either.
So you take what you have, and try again. Because every day is another chance, another opportunity. There will always be a next time. Remember that.
"Can't" is an excuse and giving up is not an option. So get out of your comfort zone and get something done. Nobody can make you do it but YOU! Not this quote, or anything else you read. It's you.
So find that personal motivation. Make it happen. Because the magic potion is somewhere very few people look, with-in you.
MOMENT IN TIME
Moments In Time"We do so with the certainty that we don't have the faintest idea what we're doing at all, which can be a very frightening prospect in a world; in a world where the boundaries of nations and the balance of nature can change over night. Except that the years that we have spent at (West Beverly) have given us the foundation to face that future. We haven't just learned facts and figures, logic and reasoning skills, but we have learned the value of friendship, loyalty, & love which will not be diminished just because we may not end up together. The memories that we have shared will not go away simply because we do. So even if the future does not always meet our expectations or the fates are cruel to us at times, no one can ever take away this moment from me. From me, from you, from any of us. No one can ever take away this moment in time." ---
1993 Beverly Hills 90210 graduation speech
this is off haha
